Build and operate a modern WordPress website entirely on self-managed infrastructure while retaining control over the web server, PHP environment, database, SSL, storage, backups, and application layer. The platform also needed to remain straightforward to administer without sacrificing the flexibility available from a self-hosted environment.
VWS deployed and configured a complete self-hosted WordPress environment on Synology infrastructure, including the web service, PHP runtime, MariaDB database, domain routing, HTTPS certificates, and custom WordPress functionality. The site was then developed around purpose-built theme and backend components rather than relying on a traditional managed-hosting or page-builder stack.
